Sheehan 4, Cheshire 3: Nick Parillo’s two-out single in the seventh scored Reid Nelson to lift the Titans over the Rams. Sophomore pitcher Jim Davitt earned his first varsity win.

Branford 9, Career 6: Nick Dummar went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBIs and two stolen bases for the Hornets.

Cromwell 11, Old Saybrook 10: Bob Jordan drove in the game-winning run with a single in the seventh.
James Canavan went 2-for-2 with four RBIs and two runs for Old Saybrook.

Derby 6, Sacred Heart 0: Ryan Skelly pitched a complete-game shutout with 11 strikeouts. He added a double and two runs.

Stratford 2, New Fairfield 1: Alec Ward’s two-out single scored Josh Vega in the seventh as the Red Devils edged New Fairfield.

St. Paul 6, Ansonia 5: Mike Scanlon drove in the game-winning run in the eighth inning for St. Paul. Scanlon also homered.
