Touch 'em All Playoff update

#ctbase -- Top seeded Shelton's Bryan Kondor had four RBIs off two hits and drove in some crucial insurance runs in the sixth to lead the Gaels over No. 8 Guilford 5-1 in the Southern Connecticut Conference quarterfinals. Gaels starting pitcher Ryan Testani struck out four. Ryan Zahornasky had two hits.

Ryan Daiss is scheduled to start the semifinal against either Branford or Xavier, according to Shelton coach Scott Gura. Gura said Daiss twisted his ankle today but, he did finish the game and should be on the mound Thursday.
