Schlitter Out For Season

Guilford right-hander Craig Schlitter is out for the season after dislocating his shoulder in the Indians 8-0 win over Hillhouse Wednesday.

Schlitter suffered the injury when he slid home head first in the fifth inning and Hillhouse catcher Reno Dunkley landed on him.

Schlitter, who will play at Bryant next season, was 1-2 with two saves and was hitting close to .300.

Sheehan Edges Guilford

In a classic pitcher's duel, the Titans beat Guilford 1-0.

Sheehan pitcher Ryan Moore allowed four hits, while his counterpart Craig Schlitter gave up just two. Both pitchers went the distance.

Nick Parillo scored the game's lone run on a balk with one out in the top of the seventh inning for Sheehan.
