Monday's Highlights

Chris Stockman had three hits, including two doubles, and an RBI as Guilford beat Shelton 6-3. Luke Miconi homered for the Indians.

Seymour picked up its first win of the season with a 5-1 victory over Kennedy. Adam Merritt allowed just five hits and struck out six for the Wildcats.

Jeff Stoddard threw a two-hitter and struck out seven in Branford's 2-0 win over Hand.

Mark Popolizio’s suicide bunt single scored Mike Mendillo with the deciding run in the bottom of the seventh inning in Lyman Hall's 2-1 victory over West Haven.

Julian Sobin had a key solo home run in Ansonia's 3-2 win over Sacred Heart.

Will Hindinger had a triple, two RBIs and scored the game-winning run in Hamden's 9-8 win over North Haven. Mike Dwyer added two hits and three RBIs for the Green Dragons. Devin DeCarr hit a grand slam for the Indians.

Joe Ciancola pitched a complete game on only 60 pitches and allowed five hits, while striking out six in Amity's 6-1 win over Foran. Ciancola also had two hits and two RBIs.

Colin Sledzik struck out 12 in Haddam-Killingworth's 11-0 win over SMSA.

Conor Keniry had three hits, including a grand slam, in Notre Dame-West Haven's 24-7 win over Career.
