State Tournament Update

Saturday's Class L quarterfinal game between No. 6 Law and No. 14 Sheehan was suspended in the fifth inning due to lightning.

The game will resume Monday at Quigley Stadium at 3:30 p.m., tentatively. The Titans lead the Lawmen 4-0.

The winner will face No. 15 North Haven Tuesday at Palmer Field.

Also, the Class LL quarterfinal game between No. 8 Xavier and top-seeded Amity was suspended Saturday. It will pick up Monday at Municipal Stadium at 4:30 p.m. Xavier leads 2-0 in the top of the first with the bases loaded and two outs.

No. 4 Bristol Central and No. 5 Greenwich will also continue Monday at Nolan Field in Ansonia at 3:30 p.m as will the Class S game between No. 3 Morgan and No. 6 Derby. The Huskies will face the Red Raiders at Quigley Stadium at 6 p.m.
