Each Monday, the Register will highlight five of last week's top performances in Diamond Gems.
Tanner Givens, Hamden: His three-run home run keyed the Green Dragons 6-5 win over West Haven on Friday.
Vin Siena Amity: Had a double, home run, two runs and three RBIs in an 8-2 win over Branford.
Sage Leonard, North Branford: His single drove in the game-winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh in a 3-2 win over East Hampton.
Dan Milardo: Haddam-Killingworth: Hit for the cycle, including a grand slam, and had six RBIs in a 14-3 win over Ellington. Also had three hits in wins against Old Saybrook and East Hampton.
Stephen Falcigno, Hopkins: Finished the week going 6-for-10 with four runs and seven RBIs in three Hilltoppers wins.
