WEST HAVEN -- In his first ever varsity start, Amity pitcher Austin Pokluda twirled a 2-hitter to defeat top-seeded Shelton and capture the SCC title. Grayson Amoroso drove in the go-ahead run and Sam Nepiarsky got the save.
