No. 1 Amity 15, Guilford 1: Mike Concato, Nick Fusco, Ross Weiner and Max Ritchie combined for a no-hitter as the Spartans opened the season with a rout of Guilford in Woodbridge.

Ansonia 9, Seymour 0: Pitcher Adam Thayer had 12 strikeouts and allowed one walk to lead the Chargers to their Naugatuck Valley League win in Seymour.

Bobby Schryver had a single, double and three RBIs and Matt Pitney added two hits, an RBI and three stolen bases for the Chargers (1-1).

Fairfield Prep 17, Career 2: Shawn Blake was 5-for-5 and the Jesuits (2-0) routed the Panthers (1-1) in New Haven in an SCC interdivision game.
No. 7 Foran 10, Lyman Hall 1: Casey McCone had 12 strikeouts walked one and added two RBIs as the Lions routed the Trojans in Wallingford.

Rinaldo Jackson had three hits and two RBIs for Foran (2-0) in the win over Lyman Hall (0-2).

Law 9, Cheshire 1: Jim Palmer went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored to lead the Lawmen to their SCC interdivision win in Cheshire. Tim Maher added three hits for the Lawmen (2-0).

No. 2 Shelton 9, Hand 4: Ryan Testani had a hit and three RBIs and Mike Cowell added two hits, including a two-run double, to lead the Gaels to their SCC interdivision win in Madison.

Tyler Tice had three hits and an RBI for the Gaels (1-1). Ben Bednarczyk and Adam Nuzzo each had a two-run double for the Tigers (1-1).

Stratford 6, Fairfield Warde 4: The Red Devils got three RBIs out of Rob Koripsky in a non-conference victory on the road.
Mike Tecci had a single and a two-run double for Stratford (2-0) in the win over Warde (0-1).

West Haven 7, Wilbur Cross 2: Tyler Gambardella went 3-for-3, including a triple, scored twice and stole a base for West Haven in an SCC interdivision win at New Haven.

Bobby Moretti went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Westies (2-0). Kevin Rivas went 2-for-2 and scored for the Governors (0-2).

Xavier 11, East Haven 3: Matt Albanese hit a home run and the Falcons (2-0) routed the Yellow Jackets (0-2) on the road in an SCC interdivision game.
