Notre Dame-West Haven 6, Shelton 5: Sean Goldrich’s RBI single scored Kris Matthews in the bottom of the seventh to cap a four-run inning and lift the Green Knights over the Gaels.
Dan St. George had three hits and two RBIs for Shelton.
North Haven 15, East Haven 7: Chris Lavorgna had four hits, including a triple, and four RBIs to lift the Indians over the Easties.
With the victory, the Indians share the SCC Oronoque division title with East Haven. Eric Yavarone added three hits and three RBIs for North Haven.
Ansonia 8, Seymour 3: Julian Sobin had three hits, including two home runs, and four RBIs to lift the Chargers over Seymour.
Derby 9, St. Paul 3: Ray Kreiger had two hits and two RBIs for the Red Raiders.
Stratford 5, Notre Dame-Fairfield 2: Brian Caselli tossed a four-hitter and allowed no earned runs with six strikeouts for the Red Devils.
Foran 2, Branford 0: Dan MacAllister pitched six scoreless innings and allowed just two hits as the Lions blanked Branford.
Brian Ward and Matt Aspinwall each had an RBI double for Foran.
Haddam Killingworth 5, Ellington 1: Rob Flynn picked up the win, striking out six and scattering five hits for the Cougars.
Sheehan 9, Hamden 2: Reid Nelson went 2-for-4 with four RBIs for the Titans.
