Monday's Recap

North Haven 1, No. 8 Shelton 0: Chandler Andrewson allowed five hits and struck out nine for the Indians in this SCC interdivision win at Shelton.

Zack Brown drove in the winning run with two outs in the sixth inning for North Haven (8-2).

Ryan Testani gave up five hits and struck out 10 for the Gaels (6-4).

Fairfield Prep 7, Hand 1: Shawn Blake and Mike Carter both hit two-run home runs for Hand in an SCC interdivision win at Madison.
Kevin Stone went 3-for-3 for the Jesuits (8-2).

James Powell and Jake Golicz both doubled for the Tigers (4-5).

Derby 5, Kennedy 2: Dillon McMahon had a single, double, run and an RBI for the host Red Raiders in this NVL win.

Michael Kreiger had a triple and an RBI and Justin Olenoski had a hit and two runs for Derby (4-6).

Ansonia 5, Crosby 0: Ryan O’Connor had two doubles and scored twice for the host Chargers in this NVL win. Ansonia is 4-5.

Seymour 8, Holy Cross 1: Jim Vartelas had two hits and an RBI for the visiting Wildcats in this NVL win at Waterbury.
Jake Walkinshaw had two hits and an RBI for Seymour (3-7).

Morgan 6, Old Saybrook 1: Gary Forbes had two hits and two RBIs for the visiting Huskies in this Shoreline Conference win. Morgan is 6-3.

Law 6, Hamden 5: Nolan Rourke drove in the winning run in the fifth inning for the host Lawmen in this SCC interdivision win at Milford.

Jake Rouse had three hits and an RBI and Rich Dow had two hits and three RBIs for Law (5-5).

Tyler Mitchell had two doubles and an RBI and Matt Moskal had a hit and two RBIs for the Green Dragons (3-6).

No. 2 Amity 6, Branford 0: Mike Concato and Sebastian Dimauro each went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base for Amity (8-1) in an SCC interdivision win at Woodbridge. Robert Miniter doubled for the Hornets (4-6).

Sheehan 8, Career 3: Zach Hart threw a four-hitter and Paul Gozzo was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Sheehan in an SCC interdivision win at Wallingford.

Mike Kakalowwas 2 for 4 with an RBI and Nolan Cloutier was 1 for 2 with two RBIs for Sheehan (4-5). Josh Colon had an RBI double for the Panthers (3-7).

Haddam-Killingworth 6, East Hampton 2: Winning pitcher Brian Moskey allowed eight hits, struck out five and added a two-run single for the host Cougars in this Shoreline Conference win.

Jake Decarli, Ty Schuler and Cody Harlow each had two hits for H-K (7-2).
East Haven 5, Cheshire 3: John Criscio had two hits, including a triple, to lead the visiting Easties to this SCC interdivision win. East Haven is 5-5.

Dan Schock had three hits and two RBIs for the Rams (3-6).
