Friday's Recap

J.P. Peters was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded with the count full to score Matt Brockett as the Guilford baseball team defeated Law 5-4 in nine innings in a Southern Connecticut Conference game in Guilford on Friday.

Ben Monte had an RBI double that scored Matt Brockett.

Notre Dame-West Haven 11, Hamden 3: Zach Balabon had three hits, three RBIs and a double in the Green Knights’ win over the Green Dragons at Quigley Stadium.

North Haven 6, Career 5: Dominic Fusco scored the winning run off an error and Mike Acampora came in relief and got the win as the Indians (10-4) topped the Panthers (4-10) in North Haven.
Shelton 4, Sheehan 2: Ryan Testani had two hits, Justin Lynch had an RBI and the Gaels (9-5) topped the Titans in Shelton.

Kevin Duffy had two hits for Sheehan (6-7).
